Description
The City of Columbus Department of Building and Zoning Services is seeking contractors to provide weed/grass cutting and solid waste removal services. The contract will run from approximately May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. The City is looking for approximately seven to eight contractors, with one to two of these contractors having a front-end loader. The contract amount per contractor will not exceed $30,000.00. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform the services. The contractor must have the required equipment, including a Bush Hog, Dump Truck, and Commercial Walk-Behind Mower. The contractor must also have a valid City of Columbus contract compliance number.
• The contractor will be paid the bid amount for the hourly rate for equipment used, including operator cost.
• The contractor must submit an invoice for each individual service with confirmation of each job completed.
• The contractor must have a current copy of their Workers' Compensation certificate and insurance certificate.
• The City of Columbus, Code Enforcement Division must be named as an additional insured on the insurance certificate.
