REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR ON-CALL LAND SURVEYING SERVICES

The City of Auburn is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced consultants to provide On-Call Land Surveying Services. The successful Consultant will be required to enter into an agreement with the City, which will include the requirements of this RFP, as well as other requirements to be specified at a later date. The duration of the agreement will be for two years with the option to extend upon mutual agreement for an amount not to exceed $100,000.00. The Consultant will provide the necessary on-call, land surveying services to the City in accordance with all provisions within this RFP. Some of the tasks include reviewing maps, plats, legal descriptions and other land surveying documents, conducting various field surveying activities, and researching and due diligence investigations as needed. • The City will assign task orders as services are needed to the Consultant as it deems necessary and appropriate. • All work shall be performed under the direction of an appropriate licensed professional land surveyor registered with the State of California. • The City will pay invoices from the consultant for services rendered within 30 days after receipt of the invoice. • The Consultant shall provide a “Payment Schedule” indicating the fee for individual tasks and hourly rates for applicable personnel. • Progress payments shall be based on tasks performed as identified in the Payment Schedule.
