The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, deliver, and install a new 8‑ton class compact hydraulic excavator (track‑type, “Bobcat E88 or similar”) to its Dickinson and Grand Forks district shops. The contract is a one‑year, fixed‑price purchase that includes mandatory on‑site training shortly after delivery and offers an optional trade‑in of an existing JCB 214 Series tractor. Bidders must be registered in the NDBuys system, provide full insurance, and certify compliance with non‑boycott requirements. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
• Provide a fully enclosed, climate‑controlled cab, EPA Tier 4 diesel engine, and all required hydraulic and electrical features.
• Deliver the excavator FOB destination to two NDDOT locations, include freight, and complete a minimum 2‑hour training session within 5 days of delivery.
• Offer optional trade‑in credit for a JCB 214 Series tractor; all bids must remain firm for 30 days after opening.
