Surveying, Engineering and Planning Services

The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) is seeking a qualified surveying or engineering firm to provide surveying, engineering, and planning services for the subdivision of a 146 Estate Profit parcel in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a topographic survey, preparing a preliminary subdivision plan, and obtaining necessary permits and approvals. The firm must have experience in land subdivision projects within the US Virgin Islands and demonstrate knowledge of local zoning and subdivision regulations. • The project involves subdividing the parcel into 99 individual residential lots, each with a minimum area of 3,000 square feet and a minimum width of 40 feet at the street line. • The firm must provide a detailed list of similar projects undertaken in the USVI in the past five years and proof of Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) Insurance and General Liability Insurance. • The firm must also demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to obtain all necessary permits and approvals. • The project requires a high level of technical expertise and knowledge of local regulations, and the selected firm will be expected to work closely with VIHFA and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project.
