NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a sole source purchase order to ANSYS, Inc. of Canonsburg, PA 15317. The purchase order is for the supply of various Ansys software products, including Ansys HPC Pack, Ansys Electronics Premium HFSS, and Ansys Mechanical Enterprise. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 513210. • The purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. • Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement, but the Government reserves the right to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. • The purchase order is expected to be awarded to ANSYS, Inc., but other companies may still submit their interests and capabilities for consideration.
