Description
The Cherokee County Water & Sewerage Authority is seeking bids for the construction of the Etowah River WTP Intake Modifications project. The project includes the extension of the existing raw water intake piping, installation of new passive intake screens, associated structural work, replacement of air burst piping, valves and compressors, and stabilization of the riverbank. The project requires a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and site visit. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and other contract documents.
• The project is located at the Etowah River Water Treatment Plant in Ball Ground, GA.
• The project requires a State of Georgia licensed Utility Contractor.
• The successful bidder must employ and assign to the project supervisory personnel trained and state certified at Level 1A - Fundamentals of the Georgia Erosion and Sediment Control training program.
