The State of Louisiana, Division of Administration, Facility Planning and Control is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the construction of a new approximately 148,000 sq ft multi-story building to house the Construction and Advanced Manufacturing program at Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge campus. The CMAR will provide pre-construction services, including design-assist, and construction services. The project includes hazardous materials remediation, demolition of existing structures, and construction of a new building. The target estimate for the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is $85,995,000.00, and the target date for completion is August 1, 2028. • The CMAR will collaborate with the Owner and Designer to develop a BIM implementation plan and provide detailed design review(s) for constructability, analysis, and recommendations. • The CMAR will determine whether certain elements of the project can be completed simultaneously and will be responsible for making final determinations on scheduling and the limits of construction. • The CMAR will provide financial transparency and ensure all persons, equipment, and processes connected with the construction of the project make safety the first order of business. • The CMAR will develop a master construction schedule, a site logistics plan, and a quality control plan. • The CMAR will procure general or trade contractors as needed to construct the project and will coordinate with other vendors and contractors hired by the Owner.
