Kennedy Well

The City of Ridgefield is seeking qualifications from highly qualified consultants to design and develop a groundwater production well and associated well-house capable of delivering a sustained flow of 800 gallons per minute (GPM). The project involves designing a well-house structure, mechanical and electrical systems, and testing and commissioning the well. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing project management, design, and construction services. The project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2027. Key aspects of the project include: • Designing a well-house structure to protect pumping equipment, electrical systems, and controls • Developing mechanical and electrical systems, including discharge piping, valves, and fittings • Conducting testing and commissioning of the well to verify its capacity • Providing project management and coordination services • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
