Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking an ordained Roman Catholic priest to provide sacramental, liturgical, and spiritual support services for the Naval Air Station Oceana Chapel and the Dam Neck Annex Chapel in Virginia. The contract will be a firm‑fixed‑price, small‑business set‑aside RFP covering a base period of one year with up to three additional one‑year option extensions and a possible six‑month extension. Services include weekly weekend Masses, confessions, baptisms, weddings, funerals, emergency ministry, religious education, counseling, and administrative duties, with a minimum commitment of 7 hours per week and a maximum of 15 hours per week. The contractor must be an ordained priest acceptable to the Archdiocese for the Military Services and able to obtain a Confidential security clearance.
• Provide weekly weekend Masses, sacraments (baptisms, weddings, funerals) and confessions at NAS Oceana and Dam Neck chapels.
• Deliver religious education, RCIA, CCD, counseling, and emergency ministerial response within a 25‑mile radius.
• Meet a minimum of 7 hours/week (up to 15 hours/week) and fulfill administrative reporting requirements.
• Contract is a Firm Fixed Price, small‑business set‑aside (NAICS 813110) with a base period of 12 months plus up to three 12‑month options and a 6‑month extension.
