Mailbox Only - RFQ for Engineering Services for the River West Fresno Eaton Trail Extension Project

The City of Fresno is seeking an environmental consulting firm to perform biological surveys and extended Phase 1 subsurface testing for the River West Fresno Eaton Trail Extension (Phase 1). The work supports mitigation measures identified in the Final Environmental Impact Report and the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, covering special‑status plants, several protected animal species, and cultural‑resource archaeology. The consultant must coordinate with the construction contractor, deliver a final compliance report, and adhere to the City’s standard consultant agreement. • Conduct surveys for listed special‑status plant species, American Badger, avian species, Bald Eagle, Burrowing Owl, Swainson’s Hawk, raptors/migratory birds, and Silvery Legless Lizard. • Perform extended Phase 1 archaeological subsurface testing and provide recommendations if resources are found. • Deliver a consolidated final report documenting all survey results and mitigation compliance, and coordinate timing with construction scheduled to start February 2027.
