Description
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) seeks a qualified consultant or firm to provide ongoing WordPress development, maintenance, and related digital platform services for its portfolio of regional planning and public‑engagement websites. The work will be on an as‑needed basis, covering custom theme/plugin development, accessibility remediation, hosting and performance support, and occasional new site builds or redesigns over a three‑year period with optional annual renewals. ARC will award the contract by January 2027, and the selected vendor will invoice monthly and must comply with federal work‑authorization and security requirements.
• Scope includes WordPress core, custom themes, plugins, page‑builder tools (Divi, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Gutenberg)
• Accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA, readiness for 2.2) is mandatory
• Infrastructure support: hosting, CDN, security patches, backup, staging, version control
• Optional strategic services: modernization, API integration, automation, architecture consulting
• Contractor must work remotely with occasional phone/email/Teams communication; travel not reimbursed
• Hourly rates to be submitted; invoicing monthly; contract length up to 3 years with annual renewal option
