TREE RISK REDUCTION

The City of Quincy is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive Tree Risk Reduction and Maintenance Project. The work entails the identification, removal, and disposal of hazardous trees and tree parts along public right‑of‑ways, mitigating safety risks to pedestrians, motorists, property, and utility infrastructure. The contractor must supply certified arborists and line‑clearers, all labor, equipment, and materials, and operate independently of the city’s Forestry Division. • Remove damaged, dead, or structurally unsound trees and limbs that pose public hazards. • Provide ISA‑ or Massachusetts‑certified arborists on‑site at all times, and certified line‑clearers for work near utility lines. • Complete all work in compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and city requirements, delivering a signed Tree Report for each removal.
