Description
The City of St. Michael is seeking qualified contractors to execute a comprehensive street and utility improvement project. The work includes road paving, sidewalk and curb replacement, water‑main installation and rehabilitation, excavation, aggregate base placement, drainage improvements, and related site‑work such as landscaping, signage, and traffic control. Bids are to be submitted electronically via QuestCDN vBid by the closing date, after which an online bid opening will be held via Zoom.
• Mill Bituminous Surface (Special) and 1.0” surface installation (approx. 21,790 SY & 10,170 SY).
• Removal and replacement of existing bituminous pavement, curbs, gutters, and concrete valley gutters.
• Excavation, aggregate base, and installation of 6” PVC water‑main (approx. 1,670 LF).
• Installation of ductile‑iron fittings, PE pipe, curb stops, and related utilities.
• Additional tasks include signage, traffic control, landscaping seeding, and final site cleanup.
