FCI Milan - Emergency Surface Blowdown Heat Recovery/DA Controls

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is seeking a contractor to provide a temporary Surge/Deaerator System and remove the existing combined surge and deaerator tank from the Central Utility Plant at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Milan. The contractor will also provide a two-tank system, including a stainless surge tank and a D/A System, to maintain continuous steam service to FCI Milan. The project includes the installation of new equipment, materials, and labor force necessary to complete the work. The performance period for the project will be 180 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. Key points of the project include: • Provide a temporary Surge/Deaerator System • Remove the existing combined surge and deaerator tank • Provide a two-tank system, including a stainless surge tank and a D/A System • Install new equipment, materials, and labor force necessary to complete the work • Maintain continuous steam service to FCI Milan • Ensure redundancy in the feed water system
