The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is seeking a qualified contractor to install a Magnetic Rail Platform (MRP) system and OS‑3 control panels with wireless auto‑start controls to replace existing diesel‑exhaust equipment at its Carmel Hill Fire Station in Pebble Beach, Monterey County. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, equipment, permits, transportation, and related fees in a single, all‑inclusive bid. The project requires compliance with prevailing‑wage rules, payment‑bond requirements, and a suite of state certifications (e.g., post‑consumer content, Darfur Act, civil‑rights). Small‑business and DVBE incentives are available.
• Install a new magnetic‑seal rail platform and control panels, eliminating hose loops and five pneumatic components per hose.
• Provide a fully turnkey solution—including permits, transportation, and disposal—at the designated CAL FIRE site.
• Must hold California C‑20 (HVAC) and/or C‑43 (Sheet‑Metal) contractor licenses and be registered with the DIR as a public‑works contractor.
