U006--ENGINEERING SAFETY TRAINING

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide engineering safety training to staff at the VA Central California Healthcare System. The training includes fall protection, asbestos/lead awareness, confined space rescue, hazard communication, OSHA10, forklift/scissor/boom/skid steer, NFPA70E, and electrical contact release training. The training sessions will be conducted quarterly, biennially, or triennially, and the contractor must provide certified trainers and documentation. The contractor will also be responsible for providing equipment, supplies, and materials. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing safety training to VA staff • Conducting training sessions quarterly, biennially, or triennially • Ensuring trainers are certified and authorized by OSHA • Providing documentation and certification for staff members • Complying with OSHA standards and VHA Directives • Providing equipment, supplies, and materials • Maintaining records and providing them to the government upon request
