The State of Alabama is seeking vendors to provide satellite telephone services under a Quick Quote solicitation. The scope includes provision of satellite phones, minute‑based voice services, SMS per‑message billing, and optional PTT (Push‑to‑Talk) capabilities for North American coverage. Vendors must supply the hardware (phones) and manage pooled minute allocations (2,500 minutes per year per account) that expire after 12 months, with optional unlimited PTT service available for a monthly fee per unit. The contract will support the FirstSatet PTT‑only services and the FirstSatNet Mutual‑Aid Network, covering specific talk groups across Alabama and surrounding regions.
