Description
The United States Air Force is seeking capabilities packages from potential sources for a new Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The contract will cover a broad range of sustainment, maintenance, repair, alteration/renovation, and minor construction projects affecting real property at Tinker Air Force Base and its outlying properties. The contract will be utilized for non-complex or repetitive-work types of projects, and task orders will be firm-fixed price. The contractor will be required to complete design efforts, produce working documents, and commence construction in accordance with approved documents and contract requirements.
• The contract has an estimated magnitude of $25 million to $100 million.
• The anticipated magnitude of individual orders is between $2,500 and $1 million.
• The contract will be for a period of 5 years and 6 months, with one base year and four additional one-year ordering periods, and a 6-month option to extend services.
• The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract with its own employees.
• The contractor must submit a capabilities package, including company information, recent and relevant work experience, and documentation of bonding capability.
