Intent to Sole Source - Preventative Maintenance Agreement for 4 Apheresis Machines (Optias)

The National Institutes of Health, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Terumo BCT for a preventative maintenance agreement for 4 apheresis machines. The contract will cover maintenance, support, and emergency servicing for the machines, which are used in therapeutic exchanges and collections of mononuclear cells for research. The contract will have a duration of one year with two optional years. The contractor will be required to provide scheduled preventive maintenance, emergency service visits, and repair services, as well as supply all necessary parts and supplies. • The contract will cover maintenance, support, and emergency servicing for the apheresis machines. • The contractor will be required to provide scheduled preventive maintenance every 6 months. • The contractor will also be required to provide emergency service visits and repair services. • The contract will have a duration of one year with two optional years. • The contractor will be required to supply all necessary parts and supplies.
