Mobile Gantry Crane

The US Air Force is seeking a vendor to provide a mobile gantry crane that meets specific requirements, including a minimum capacity of 10 tons, steel frames and steel I-beams, and a maximum height of 19 feet 5 inches. The crane must be delivered to Misawa Air Base in Japan within 45 days of award. The contract will be awarded to the responsible vendor whose offer is both responsive and conforming to the requirements, and represents the best overall price to the government. • The mobile gantry crane must have a minimum capacity of 10 tons. • The crane must have steel frames and steel I-beams. • The maximum height of the crane must be 19 feet 5 inches. • The crane must have a minimum hook height of 17 feet 1.5 inches. • The crane must have a minimum load clearance height of 15 feet 0.5 inches. • The crane must have a minimum pinch point between the support beams of 10 feet. • The crane must have variable speed and a maximum creep speed of 1.75 feet per minute. • The crane must have a powered hoist with a wall plug, 120v AC, 60 Hz. • The crane must have brakes on the casters. • The crane must have a compatible push trolley with a headroom of 4.7 inches and a flange width adjustment of 5.5-8.66 inches.
