EMB Lobby Painting Project

The U.S. Embassy in Stockholm is seeking a contractor to provide painting services for the Embassy lobby and related stairwell. The contractor shall prepare, prime, and paint all painted surfaces, including walls, ceilings, stairs, trim, and other elements. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, access equipment, and protection required. The objective is to deliver a clean, professional paint finish on all painted surfaces, prepared, primed as required, and finished in Embassy-approved colors. • The contractor shall verify surfaces, access needs, protection requirements, and work sequencing before starting work. • The contractor shall clean, sand, scrape, spackle/fill seams, cracks, holes, and defects for proper paint adhesion and uniform finish. • The contractor shall prime repaired, bare, stained, damaged, or otherwise required surfaces before finish coats. • The contractor shall paint all painted lobby/stairwell surfaces, including walls, ceilings, stairs, trim, railings, doors/frames, and related elements. • The contractor shall provide 4 color/finish mockups for each distinct area or surface group for COR approval before final painting. • The contractor shall safely access difficult areas by scaffolding, ladders, lifts, or other compliant methods and keep work areas clean.
