Water Reuse Feasibility Study-Engineering Services

The City of Derby, Kansas is soliciting statements of qualifications for engineering services to provide a feasibility study and pilot concept for wastewater reuse. The selected consultant will be required to assess the existing conditions and provide recommendations for direct potable reuse of the City's effluent stream from the wastewater treatment plant. The scope of service includes data collection and evaluation, treatment evaluation, development of two treatment alternatives, and preparation of a pilot concept plan. • The consultant will be responsible for attending meetings with City staff, collecting and evaluating data, and developing a comprehensive report. • The consultant will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, including information about their experience, approach, and estimated fee range. • The City will evaluate the proposals based on criteria such as ability and capacity to meet the requirements, experience and qualifications of the consultant, and estimated fee range. • The selected consultant will be required to enter into a contract with the City, which will include provisions for confidentiality, data ownership, and intellectual property rights.
