Description
Mecklenburg County is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to develop a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for two inter‑related projects: the design of a new Albermarle Road Recreation Center and the master planning of park, recreation, administration, and maintenance facilities. Selected firms will be expected to assemble multidisciplinary design teams capable of delivering master‑planning, schematic and design development, construction documents, bidding assistance, contract administration, and close‑out/warranty services for either or both projects. The procurement is conducted as a qualification‑based selection; firms must submit an SOQ by the stated deadline to be considered for award.
• Scope includes master planning, architectural and engineering design, bid preparation, construction contract administration, and warranty/close‑out services.
• Projects may be pursued individually or jointly, allowing firms to target one or both scopes.
• Submissions are due Thursday, 15 Oct 2026 by 2:00 PM to the County’s Asset & Facility Management office.
• The County will provide the full RFQ packet upon receipt of a formal Notification‑of‑Interest.
