Situational Awareness Support (SAS)

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistic Center Sigonella (FLCSI) is seeking industry assistance for conducting market research to identify vendors qualified to provide Situational Awareness Support (SAS) to the N3 Operations Branch at Navy Region Europe, Africa, and Central (NREURAFCENT) in Naples, Italy. The contractor will provide comprehensive SAS, including 24/7 mission essential watchstander support, to monitor, collect, and disseminate information critical for the safety and protection of the Fleet, Fighter, and Family. Key responsibilities include maintaining continuous situational awareness, providing timely and accurate information, ensuring effective communication and collaboration, and supporting the implementation and execution of emergency management plans and procedures. Some of the key requirements for contractor personnel include: • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide insight and opinions to the Government-led team • Professionalism, personal initiative, and demonstrated good judgment • Outstanding organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under constant pressure • Skill in applying complex fact-finding, analytical, and problem-solving methods and techniques • A high level of ability in interpersonal relations • Skill in written and oral communications sufficient to prepare and present findings and recommendations, develop and present briefings/training, messages, orders, and prepare reports • Ability to multi-task and work on simultaneous projects • Ability to communicate and brief senior Government Officials in a clear and concise manner
