ARCHITECT/ENGINEERING (A/E) SERVICES FOR CATLETT ISLAND TLP DESIGN

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for A/E Professional Services to develop design documents for the Catlett Island Thin Layer Placement/Beneficial Use of Dredge Material Design. The project involves designing a thin layer placement project at the Catlett Islands Reserve Component with dredge material from an adjacent creek. The selected A/E firm will be required to provide professional services for the project, including participation in pre-permit meetings, completion of preliminary and intermediate designs, assistance with permit preparation and support, and preparation of complete construction contract documents. The project is expected to last 18 months, with a tentative project schedule including programming/schematic design, preliminary design, and working drawings. The A/E firm will be required to provide supporting cost estimates at each stage of design and represent the Agency at regulatory agencies or public hearings as required.
