ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES STORAGE BUILDING

The Oswego County Fire Coordinator is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for the Construction of a pole barn to be used for storage for Emergency Services. The new structure will provide space for the increased instructional staff to store fire gear in a vented space for cancer exposure reduction, along with providing a gear room for students. The building will provide space for the storage of NYS Cache flood equipment and allow all special operations cache and training equipment to be readily accessible to all team members. • The pole barn structure will be 120’ x 80’ and include eight bay doors with a minimum door height of 14 feet. • The structure will be fully insulated and have a heat source to maintain a temperature of 65 degrees. • The building will have adequate lighting, general outlets, and two ceiling-mounted outlets on the left side of each bay. • The building will have plumbing, including hot and cold water, restrooms, and a K9 washing sink. • The site work will include demolition of two current structures, removal of the existing fence line, and construction of a new parking area.
