The Needham Public Schools is holding a public auction to dispose of surplus computer equipment from the Information Technology Center. The auction will take place on May 6, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. The items for sale include iPads and computers, which will be sold as two predetermined lots rather than individual pieces. The items are being sold "as is" and all sales are final. Potential purchasers are invited to attend a preview inspection on May 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

* Lot 1: 2820 iPads (2456 operational, 364 unknown/broken)
* Lot 2: 532 Computers (494 operational, 38 unknown/broken)
* The auction will be held at the Hillside School, 28 Glen Gary Road, Needham, MA 02494.
* All bids must be accompanied by a signed bid form, which includes a non-collusion statement.
* The winning bidder will be required to remove all purchased items from the premises by 3:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026.
