Description
The City of Columbus Division of Water Reclamation is seeking a single used diesel‑powered terminal tractor (4×2 yard truck) to support operations at its Compost Facility, plus associated operator training and spare filters. The contract is sealed, delivered FOB destination, and requires the supplier to provide warranties, documentation, and insurance. Delivery is expected by early December 2026.
• Purchase and delivery of one used terminal tractor meeting detailed mechanical, safety, and emissions specifications (e.g., Cummins engine, Allison transmission, 80,000 lb GVWR).
• Provide factory training for up to 20 operators and preventive‑maintenance training.
• Supply two complete sets of filters (engine, fuel, air, hydraulic, cabin).
• Submit firm, fixed price quotes; include make, model, year, and all required accessories.
• Provide proof of manufacturer‑certified reseller partnership, references from at least four similar contracts, and required liability/worker’s‑comp insurance.
• Questions due 15 Oct 2026; bid submission deadline 29 Oct 2026 3 PM.
• Delivery by 7 Dec 2026 to 4211 Groves Rd, Columbus, OH; title paperwork to be completed with Jason Smith (Fleet Management).
