Description
The City of Ashburn is seeking a qualified contractor to provide sanitation services, including residential and commercial solid waste collection, yard waste collection, and designated area cleanup. The goal is to ensure a clean, sanitary, and aesthetic environment. The contract is expected to be for three years with two one-year options to renew, based on performance. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to perform the scope of work. Key responsibilities include:
• Residential waste collection: once-weekly curbside collection of municipal solid waste
• Yard waste collection: weekly collection of yard trimmings/leaves
• Equipment standards: trucks must be GPS-equipped and no older than three years at the start of the contract
• Cleanup duties: immediate removal of any spillage caused by the contractor during collection
Proposals must include experience, references, operational plan, and pricing sheet.
