Biden Street Streetscape

The City of Scranton is seeking bids for the Biden Street Streetscape project, which includes improvements to Biden Street from Jefferson Avenue to Penn Avenue. The project includes items such as clearing and grubbing, selective tree removal, removal of planters and granite bollards, test pits, asphalt mixture design, and more. The successful bidder will enter into a contract that will remain in effect until the satisfactory completion of the project. • The project requires the contractor to maintain access to adjoining properties at all times. • The contractor must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and accompanying regulations. • The contractor must provide insurance certificates with adequate limits to protect the City of Scranton and its agents and employees. • The contractor must comply with the Public Works Employment Verification Act and submit a completed Public Works Employment Verification Form prior to commencing work.
