The City of Boise is seeking a qualified contractor to redesign and construct new landscaping in the sidewalk “budder” area along State Street and North 36th Street. The scope includes demolition of existing landscape materials, grading, installation of a full irrigation system, erosion‑ and traffic‑control measures, and planting of trees, shrubs, and decorative hardscape. The contract is a semi‑formal bid (SFB) with a bid security of 5 % and a 120‑day contract period (including weather days). • Demolition of existing rock mulch, landscape fabric, and other features. • Installation of irrigation infrastructure (PVC piping, back‑flow preventers, controllers, testing). • Erosion‑ and traffic‑control planning and implementation per city and ADA standards. • Landscape installation: trees, shrubs, mulches, decorative boulders, soil amendment, and fine grading. • Mandatory compliance with Idaho Public Works standards, tree‑protection zones, and multiple inspections (irrigation, planting, traffic).
