Description
This solicitation seeks a firm to provide a comprehensive suite of materials‑testing, field‑testing, laboratory, drilling, and related miscellaneous services on an annual basis for Gwinnett County, Georgia. The contract is firm‑price, awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bid, and may be split or negotiated at the County’s discretion. The scope covers roadway and concrete testing, non‑destructive evaluation, extensive laboratory analyses, drilling and auger services, quality‑control inspection, traffic control, and various other ancillary services such as private utility location and bathymetric surveys. Bidders must price each line‑item, meet extensive qualification and insurance requirements, and supply qualified personnel across multiple labor categories.
• Materials‑testing (asphalt, concrete, soil, masonry, asbestos, lead‑based paint, etc.) with rapid field reporting.
• Field services including core extraction, compaction testing, non‑destructive structural evaluation, and drilling/auger boring.
• Miscellaneous support: Quality‑Control Inspector, traffic control, private utility location, and specialized inspection (coating, roofing, etc.).
• Mandatory certifications (AASHTO, GA‑DOT, AMPP, E‑Verify, etc.) and minimum insurance coverage.
• Four optional one‑year renewal periods, each requiring a percentage price adjustment.
