Description
The County is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive grounds‑maintenance services for its Department of Water Resources facilities throughout Gwinnett County on an annual basis, with up to four one‑year renewal options. Services include routine mowing, edging, weed control, mulching, seasonal flower‑bed installation, tree and shrub pruning, chemical applications, and optional landscaping tasks such as core aeration, sod installation, and additional mowing/edging. The contractor must be self‑performing, hold a Georgia pesticide applicator license (Category 24), maintain required insurance, and submit a sealed bid package containing multiple affidavits, references, and licensing documentation.
• Service coverage: ~250 small sites (pump stations, meter stations) and six large water‑treatment facilities.
• Frequency: Weekly visits (Apr‑Oct) and monthly visits (Nov‑Mar) for large sites; bi‑weekly (Apr‑Oct) and monthly (Nov‑Mar) for small sites, plus extra pond/steep‑slope visits.
• Contract: 1‑year base term, optional four one‑year renewals; bidders must provide firm pricing for the initial year and percentage adjustments for renewals.
