Description
The County of Mecklenburg is seeking a qualified vendor to refurbish an International Baler Corporation (IBC) two-ram baler model #TR12-T75 Serial # 0114-063. The refurbishment will include the removal and refurbishment of main, eject, and bale door cylinders, pumps, hydraulic valves, and other components. The vendor will also be responsible for inspecting and testing the baler, as well as providing a 1-year warranty. The contract will be for an initial term of two years, with the option to renew for an additional year.
• The project requires the vendor to have experience in refurbishing similar balers and to provide a detailed scope of work and pricing.
• The vendor must also provide evidence of adequate insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The County has a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, and the vendor will be required to submit a Business Diversity & Inclusion (BDI) plan as part of their proposal.
• The contract will be awarded based on the most comprehensive, competitive, and best value solution for the County.
