8145--HAZARDOUS WASTE STORAGE UNIT RFQ AMEND 1

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide a hazardous waste storage unit for the Louis A. Johnson VAMC in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The unit must meet specific technical requirements, including size, fire rating, and explosion-proof features. The vendor will be responsible for delivering and offloading the unit to the designated site within 200 days of contract award. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract, and the vendor must provide a technical plan, product specification sheets, and warranty information. • The unit must be no larger than 112 square feet and have a staff entry door with a 36" active leaf. • The unit must have a sump capacity of 393 gallons and be 4-hour fire rated. • The unit must have an explosion-proof air conditioner, exhaust system, and emergency shut-off switch. • The vendor must provide a grounding kit and ensure that the unit is fully functional and meets all technical requirements. • The vendor must provide at least 3 shelf tiers with 2" lip sides and an adjustable vent with an insulated cover. • The vendor must provide a moveable metal grading full-length flooring with spill containment and a drain. • The vendor must provide destination delivery to the existing concrete site pad within 200 days.
