HF ALE RADIO SYSTEMS

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Homeland Security (OHS) and Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) are seeking industry information to identify contractors who can provide annual services, maintenance, and training support for the High Frequency Automatic Link Establishment (HF ALE) Radio Systems. The contractor must have certifications on CODAN and DATRON brand radios and be approved by the manufacturers to perform component-level maintenance, installation, operation, and training. The work includes on-site physical inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HF ALE systems at three USDA locations. The contractor will also provide training and operations assistance. • The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a base period of 12 months and four option periods. • The contractor will conduct annual on-site physical inspections and maintenance of all components of the HF ALE systems. • The contractor will provide remote and hands-on system operator training. • The contractor will provide telephonic and email support 24/7 as required.
