AFRC BOATHOUSE COVER IMPROVEMENTS v2

The Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR) is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and replace the boathouse fabric building cover at the Anuenue Fisheries Research Center (AFRC). The contractor will furnish a design, remove and replace the fabric cover with changes and upgrades. The project includes removal and disposal of the existing roof cover, replacement of parts, and treatment of surface rust on arch supports. The contractor must be licensed and have experience in performing similar work. • The project location is at the Anuenue Fisheries Research Center, 1039 Sand Island Parkway, Honolulu, HI 96819. • The contractor must provide a valid Hawaii Contractor License Number and comply with Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE). • The contractor must provide assurance of a construction performance and payment bond for 100% of the contracted price. • The period of performance is approximately 4 months, with a possible 2-month no-cost extension. • The contractor must follow Hawaii Prevailing Wage rules and provide liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 per accident.
