Gym Equipment Installation & Repair

The Wake County Public School System is seeking a contractor to provide gym equipment installation and repair services at various WCPSS facilities. The contract will be for a period of one year, starting from July 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027, with the option to extend for an additional two years. The contractor will be responsible for installing and repairing gym equipment, including mats, divider curtains, basketball goals, pull-up bars, and other associated parts. The contractor must be able to respond to all sites within 24-48 hours in case of urgent requests. • The contractor must provide a cost/price proposal that includes the total hourly labor cost, miscellaneous tools and equipment, vehicle costs, mileage, fuel charges, overhead, and profit. • The contractor must also provide documentation showing the cost of labor and materials per invoice to WCPSS. • The contractor's net profit on subcontractors' rates shall not exceed 5%, and the contractor's net profit on materials overhead and profit shall not exceed 10%. • The contractor must provide certificates of insurance acceptable to WCPSS prior to commencement of the work. • The contractor must comply with all requirements specified in the RFP, including the terms and conditions, specifications, and instructions to bidders.
