TOS No. 45 - Pre-Design Services for the Mulholland Drive Improvements between Saltillo Street and Trinidad Road Project

The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering, Street Improvement Division is seeking a consultant to provide pre-design services for the Mulholland Drive Improvements between Saltillo Street and Trinidad Road Project. The project aims to provide safety improvements on Mulholland Drive by eliminating soil erosion and untraversable roads during heavy rainstorms. The consultant will be tasked with assessing existing conditions, providing optimal recommendations and alternatives for street improvement, and delivering a fully comprehensive Pre-Design Report. The report will include tasks such as research existing information, right-of-way identification, drainage analysis, lighting analysis, utility investigation, design alternatives, and a rough order cost estimate. The consultant will also be required to participate in stakeholder engagement and community outreach. • Key tasks and deliverables include: • Pre-Design Services: Feasibility/Conceptual Study • Research existing information and perform a road safety assessment • Identify right-of-way and prepare a base map • Conduct drainage and lighting analysis • Investigate utilities and substructures • Explore design alternatives and provide a rough order cost estimate • Prepare a Pre-Design Report and participate in stakeholder engagement and community outreach
