Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk for the Cam D. Milani Park project. The project involves developing a 5.29-acre public access beach park, including a guard house, elevated boardwalk, restroom and lifeguard building, and landscaping. The selected Construction Manager will be responsible for pre-construction services, developing a Guaranteed Maximum Price, and construction of the project. The Construction Manager will also be required to provide project management services, including design reviews, budget estimating, value engineering, and construction scheduling.
• The project is expected to start in September 2026 and be completed by September 2027.
• The preliminary construction cost is estimated at $7,000,000.
• The Construction Manager will be required to have an active State Contractors Certification or an active Palm Beach County Certificate of Competency.
• The Construction Manager will also be required to comply with the County's Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) program and provide a SBE participation plan.
