Prepare and Conduct Tax Sales

The City of East Providence is seeking a firm to prepare and conduct annual tax sales. The successful bidder will be responsible for conducting title examinations, preparing notices, and conducting the tax sale. The firm must have 5 years of experience in tax sales and provide a certificate of errors and omissions insurance. The contract will be renewable for four more years at the City's discretion. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting title examinations to determine parties in interest • Preparing notices and conducting the tax sale • Providing a certificate of errors and omissions insurance • Complying with all aspects of the Federal Fair Debt Practices and Collections Act • Conducting redemption proceedings pursuant to Rhode Island state regulations
