Heavy Vehicle Hydraulic System Parts and Components

The County of Sacramento is seeking a contractor to provide repair and/or replacement of hydraulic system parts for heavy equipment vehicles. The contract will be for a one-year initial term with the option for five additional one-year extensions. The contractor must have the ability to provide or upgrade aftermarket wear parts/cylinders within a reasonable timeline and must be an authorized dealer of Hypro parts. The contractor must also have a local branch within 40 miles of Sacramento with a parts inventory to respond to same-day requests. The scope of work includes hydraulic cylinder repair and overhaul, custom cylinder fabrication, supply of hydraulic components, air conditioning hose fabrication and supply, and failure analysis. Some key requirements include: • Ability to provide or upgrade aftermarket wear parts/cylinders within a reasonable timeline • Authorized dealer of Hypro parts • Local branch within 40 miles of Sacramento with a parts inventory • Ability to report on site to retrieve a part within 3 hours of notice • Ability to provide same-day detailed status on orders placed before 10:00 AM • Ability to acknowledge receipt of orders within 1 hour The County will evaluate proposals based on pricing, experience, references, and other factors. The contract will be awarded to the highest scoring proposer.
