Description
The Bibb County School District is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide switch upgrades for the district. The project includes the installation of new switches, including Cisco Catalyst C9500-48Y4C or equivalent, and the replacement of existing data center core switches with Nexus 9336C-FX2 or equivalent. The vendor must be able to respond to on-site calls within one hour or less and provide all necessary documentation and testing. The district requires that all responders be able to meet the requirements of E-rate prior to responding to this solicitation.
• The project includes 45 locations across Bibb County.
• The vendor must provide installation services, including uninstalling existing switches and installing new ones.
• The vendor must provide engineering assistance for the conversion of the existing core switch configuration.
• The vendor must provide all necessary documentation and testing.
• The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposal process.
