North Dakota State University seeks a single‑prime contractor to design, supply, install, integrate, and commission a comprehensive robotics and automation instructional laboratory capable of supporting 24 students working in six teams. The effort includes full hardware (PLC/HMI stations, multiple robot workcells, vision systems, motion control, pneumatics, conveyors, test & measurement gear), software licensing (minimum three‑year term), detailed documentation, faculty training (≥ 40 instructor hours), and a three‑year warranty/support package. All mandatory items must be priced within a $600 K firm‑not‑to‑exceed base proposal, with optional value‑added items priced separately. Key requirements include multi‑vendor PLC families, at least two robot manufacturers, diverse robot form‑factors, integrated vision, OT network testbed, and a 180‑day delivery/installation schedule.
• Deliver a turnkey lab: equipment, software, installation, commissioning, training, documentation, and 3‑year warranty.
• Meet strict technical specs: 6 PLC/HMI stations, 4 robot cells (≥ 3 form‑factors, ≥ 2 manufacturers), 4 vision stations, extensive sensor & motion kits, and OT cybersecurity testbed.
• Provide ≥ 40 instructor contact hours and ≥ 30 editable lab exercises, plus a five‑year lifecycle cost schedule.
