Description
The Summit County Government is soliciting qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, and incidentals for the cabinetry component of the South Branch Library “Refresh” remodel. The work covers three library rooms (J Room, E Room, and Front Desk) and includes new cabinet fabrication, modification of existing units, and fabrication/installation of matching wood panels. All cabinetry must match the existing library finishes and be completed within a tight August 2026 window, coordinated with a separate general contractor handling the broader remodel.
• Fabricate and install custom wood cabinets, bookshelves, and panels to exact match existing library wood finishes.
• Modify existing cabinetry (add doors, adjust shelving) and fabricate eight new end panels (78 in × 15 in × 1.5 in).
• Coordinate closely with the County’s Project Manager and the overall remodel’s general contractor; work must be finished by the end of August 2026 (≈ 30 days).
• Mandatory pre‑proposal site visit/meeting on May 11 2026 for project clarification.
• Submission deadline May 18 2026 2 PM MST; proposals will be publicly opened May 19 2026.
