Description
Livingston Parish Gravity Drainage District One is seeking a sealed bid for the complete design, fabrication, and supply of an amphibious undercarriage conversion for a CASE CX140E excavator. The undercarriage must enable stable flotation and mobility in marsh, swamp, shallow‑water, and soft‑ground conditions while using the excavator’s existing track drive for propulsion. Bids are to be submitted electronically or hand‑delivered, with the sealed bid opening scheduled for 10:00 a.m. CST on 20 Oct 2026. The contractor will be responsible for engineering design, custom fabrication of the amphibious system, testing, and delivery to the District’s office.
• Design and engineer a fully amphibious undercarriage compatible with CASE CX140E chassis.
• Fabricate the complete system, including flotation devices, buoyancy modules, and integration hardware.
