The City of Coronado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive odor‑and‑corrosion control services for its municipal sanitary sewer system, with optional extension to several U.S. Navy facilities pending an inter‑governmental agreement. The contractor will supply and dose chemicals (primarily calcium‑nitrate‑based “Bioxide” and ferrous chloride), install and maintain automated feed and monitoring equipment, conduct continuous H₂S and dissolved‑oxygen sampling, and submit monthly performance reports. The contract is a five‑year time‑and‑materials agreement (with a possible five‑year renewal) and requires 24/7 remote data access, rapid emergency response, and compliance with stringent environmental and insurance requirements. • Supply and apply chemical dosing at up to eight pump‑station sites (primary City site plus conditional Navy sites). • Provide, install, and maintain automated dosing and monitoring hardware, including leak detection, remote‑interface capability, and alarm functions. • Conduct monthly dissolved‑sulfide and dissolved‑oxygen sampling, continuous H₂S monitoring, and deliver monthly reports via a secure web portal. • Meet emergency‑response (3‑hour onsite) and insurance (≥ $2 M general liability, $3 M environmental) obligations; retain performance and payment bonds equal to the contract value.
