The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is hosting a Pitch Day event on November 2, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois. The event aims to fund scientific discovery solutions for short-term efforts and encourage participation by non-traditional organizations and small businesses. Interested organizations must submit an abstract for evaluation, and selected organizations will be invited to submit a Pitch Day Presentation package and pitch their discovery solutions via an oral presentation. The goals of the MXO Pitch Day are to advance scientific understanding, generate new concepts or methods, reduce technical uncertainty, and create future groundbreaking DARPA programs.

• The Pitch Day event is invitation-only and will be held at the UNCLASSIFIED level.
• All invited attendees will be required to present U.S. Government-issued photo identification upon entry to the event.
• The registration fee for the MXO Spark Tank event is $450.00, and DARPA will not provide reimbursement for costs incurred to participate in MXO Pitch Day and/or MXO Spark Tank.
• Organizations who are invited to MXO Pitch Day will also be invited to showcase their technical capabilities during the MXO Pitch Day Poster Showcase and Networking event.
