Former Middletown Paperboard - Phase 2

The City of Middletown is seeking bids for the reconstruction of the former Middletown Paperboard site. The work includes site soil removal and disposal, soil import, soil grading, and seeding. The project must be completed by June 30, 2026. Bidders must comply with the State Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Middletown, Ohio. The bid packet can be obtained electronically or in hard copy from the Office of Public Works & Utilities Division. • The project requires a bid guaranty bond, a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. • The successful bidder will be required to execute the contract and provide a 100% performance bond within ten days after the award of the contract. • Bidders must certify that they have met the requirements of the Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation’s (BWC) Drug Free Workplace Program to be eligible for state-funded construction projects.
