Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is requesting bids for the procurement of whole beef loins to be delivered to Snyder, Texas. The contract will be for a purchase order, and bidders must quote F.O.B. destination, with all freight, delivery, import, and tariff charges added into the unit cost. The bidder must also comply with TDCJ security procedures when making deliveries to correctional facilities.
• The contract is for whole beef loins, top butt, boneless, 1/4 trim, grade US Choice, fresh or frozen.
• The meat must be in leak-proof vacuum-sealed packages, packed in cardboard, wax-lined boxes, stacked on a pallet, with 70 to 80 lbs per case.
• The delivery location is the TDCJ Snyder Distribution Center, 2100 N King Highway, Snyder, TX 79549.
• The bidder must certify that they are eligible to participate in this transaction and have not been subjected to suspension, debarment, or similar ineligibility determined by any federal, state, or local governmental entity.
• The bidder must also agree to comply with the State of Texas statutes and rules relating to procurement.
